Entering the Ultimate Naruto Experience

There are many things that can be chosen as theme for developing a game, one of the most common ones in recent time are anime, especially those popular ones. From tons of anime that have been used as the main theme of a game, one title that have been frequently popping up is Naruto, that renowned Ninja story that have many cult followers all over the globe. Eager to follow that parade, new game developer, Joyfun, created an interesting browser-based MMO Role Playing Game about that famous anime, that offers an engaging aspect for gamer as this outing basically setting things according to the actual story line.

This promising MMORPG titled, Ultimate Naruto, is set to take gamer along with the anime lovers entering that Ninja realm which so far have provided people with an attractive story. Just as the actual story, in this game, you will be taken to experience Naruto's journey as a young ninja as he battles against forces of evil, such as Orochimaru and also other enemies that comes along the way. In this game, you won't be able to start with your favorite characters from the anime as you will be given several hero options, with three different fighting styles such as, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu along with Taijutsu. Each of those styles have their own pluses and minuses, as well as different skills during battles, so just set up your choice based on your preference.

Similar to how the real Naruto story goes, at the start, gamer will be acting as novice ninja student, who is working his way in becoming the best possible one and in the attempt on achieving it, you have to finish several missions which related to the actual story line. Along the way, you will be able to unlock other characters that will accompany your gaming journey, finishing off every available quests while reliving the story-line. The game play of this outing can be considered more as side scrolling strategy RPG since the battle is mostly being set automatically, with your main involvement occurred during the fight, such as setting up character's skill, weapon, armor and most importantly the team positioning during battle.

There are three roles that can be filled in the battlefield, which are vanguard, assaulter and also support. Each of those positions can be filled based on the characters that you unlocked during that game, as there will be different styles on Ninja that must be placed in the best formation in order to create a strong an ultimate team. Just as it was explained above, the fact that things are being run in auto-mode, gamer should really pay attention on their team setup before any fight as a wrong setting can easily wiped your party out during any battles. Try to check out some of the hints being provided along your journey as that could also be very helpful in finishing all of the available quests from that outing.

Since this game is mostly being set in an auto-mode, the game control is very simply indeed as it's rather similar to facebook type of games, players basically only need to use their mouse in completing any of the objectives, even in moving the characters. Simply clicking on the symbols to received quests, orders, gifts and also setting up your team during battle. This setup really made things simple as even new gamer, who haven't had any MMORPG experience can immediately run things without much problems. However, for those who actually had that RPG experience, they might felt a bit confused and disappointed with the simplicity that Joyfun crafted for Naruto Online. There's not much that players can actually do, especially during battle as after preparing the team, they can only watch how things pans out, though there's still a little bit entertainment with the lovely flashy anime clips.

Although only being a browser-based outing, Ultimate-Naruto actually have a pretty attractive 2D graphic, aside from the actual story characters, which are captured in a similar fashion, the designs for original heroes are also pretty solid. The background world also being painted nicely, though there's might be lack of details here and there, compared to other MMORPG titles that have higher graphic technology. However, considering how this game really depicted the original story's design nicely, there shouldn't be much complains hovering around its visual.

Aside from PvE options, which probably the aspect which interest most of gamer; there's still PvP option that's pretty challenging and fun to do. Moreover, there's also interesting mini-games, such as Tsunade dice guessing, that although can be as difficult as any gambling oriented game, but its fun and also rewarding. There's also several other things that gamer can do to further enhance their character's strength as they finished each missions, so things obviously get interesting as the game goes. However, there's one rather annoying condition during playing it, which is the constant loading each time you complete a command or mission, though it's not such long wait, but having to stop-go frequently is not actually something that is fun to experience.

Ultimate Naruto: Final Verdict

Overall, Ultimate-Naruto is an exciting entertainment indeed for any gamer, especially for those who also enjoy the anime or mange of this famous ninja tale. Strong similarities with the actual storyline along with original characters triggered that exciting fantasy for those who are keen on reliving that early episodes' experience. Moreover, the game setup sort of guided gamer in experiencing that path in becoming a great ninja warrior, just like what the original story describes. However, several minor things during playing it such as frequent loading, auto-battle system and the lack of interaction process being setup can really be the turned off for this outing. Still, if you are an avid Naruto enthusiasts, there's nothing wrong from trying out this free-to-play browser based game as it still offers plenty excitement.
