This full throttle MMO battling game wont give players long hours figuring out storyline, building empire or any other time wasting element from basic RPG/Strategy outing as all being required is your ability to arrange battle tactics in the field.
WarMage doesnt really have any basic storyline as in this game you will be acting as warlord who lead a group of fighters, composed of several different classes and embark on solo PVE or PVP battles in the world of Kotor. There are some battle areas which you can choose from and as always players will start on embarking easy opponents, until improving their level and ready for much more difficult opponents. Gamers can also pick on whether to battle in a two or four players battle, anything that suits their liking.
Starting the game, players will only need to create an avatar for their warlord, which albeit isnt the most attractive character design, wont actually affecting much of your game. After finished creating your warlord, gamers can immediately start their battle or take on some simple tutorial to understand more about the attacking system on WarMage. Basically, its similar to any tactical RPG battle where the players group of fighters can be moved into certain area in order to attack other clan of enemies.
In order to defeat the enemies, players can set up their fighters list, deciding which ones making the first moves, second, third and so on. The list can be changed at the start of any battles, so you can first see who you will be facing before deciding which class you want to start attacking your enemies with. Not only possessing basic skills, but during the game there are special mana spells that players can used, whenever their mana is full. Choosing the right strategy in using all the available spells and special skills are very necessary to increase your winning probabilities. The right tactics can help you beat your opponent despite being outnumbered by enemies.
WarMages graphic is super special but its pleasing enough for the eyes, although players shouldnt be expecting any special animated scenes or character designs from this outing. The background music also isnt anything worthy, but once again it most likely wont be felt much by gamers, as theyll be too busy arranging battle tactics to win their clash. Obviously, having a much prettier graphic display could make things better, but considering the games approach, the display their offering is suitable enough.
The game play is not that difficult as you only need to click in every moves that your about to make, including tapping the enemies that they want to attack. This simple game play gives a huge addictive factor for gamers, as they can easily focus in arranging their strategy instead of getting busy with a complicated game control. Interesting bonuses received by gamers can be used to further strengthen their battle units, but it will take a bit time in improving it but impatient gamers always have the opportunity in purchasing stuffs via hard cash.
Overall, WarMage Battleground is an interesting game that offers new experience for MMORPG players, especially those who enjoy battling instead of experiencing a long and complicated gaming journey. However, classic RPG fans might not be that fond of this concept, since its basically similar with dungeons grinding style, without any basic story base that usually bring a certain unique element for players of this genre. Still, its a fun and addictive game which can be used to kill of some time and enjoying unique gaming experience.
